Clare Brandfonbrener

Clare is a Senior Associate on 645 Ventures' Investment & Research team. She works on 645's deep tech vertical.

Prior to joining 645, Clare was an investor at Alumni Ventures where she helped grow the firm's US Strategic Tech fund. Before investing, she worked in technology policy at Skydio and in public sector strategy at SandboxAQ. Clare began her career at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office working on trials and investigations within the Rackets Bureau, focusing on organized crime, counter-terrorism, and public corruption. Outside of investing, Clare enjoys skiing, traveling, trying new restaurants, and staying active.

Clare earned an MBA and Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a BA from Vanderbilt University.
