Meredith Tibbals is an Associate on the 645 Ventures’ Success team. In her role, she works with founders to deeply understand their hiring needs and connects them with top talent to grow their vision to new heights.
Meredith was first exposed to the impact of entrepreneurship when she took a class at Georgetown that taught the core elements of social entrepreneurship. As part of the course, she interned for a DC-based nonprofit that provides entrepreneurial, leadership and management training to struggling business owners in third-world countries. Through her work with these entrepreneurs, Meredith was truly blown away by their passion, incredible work ethic, and drive to bring their ideas to life, and the transformative impact that these ventures had on their respective communities. It inspired her to take on a role on Facebook’s Small Business team post-graduation, which was followed by positions at Columbia Business School and First Round Capital. These roles have reiterated Meredith’s belief that entrepreneurs are essential to strong and innovative economies, which has fueled her to continue to pursue a career that supports ventures from an early stage.
A native New Yorker, Meredith is an avid runner and absolute dog lover. She was also a competitive field hockey player for years and competed in two NCAA National Championships. Meredith graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in History and Sociology.
